No no you really aren’t… it would disqualify you from going through boot camp but you are NOT property of ANYTHING till you are done with boot camp. Come off anon and tell me how much you know because you must be in the coast guard or something. Because you can get to boot camp and say you want to go home and you are going to go home. No more Coast guard for you. I saw it all with Jeremy. I talked to recruiters myself. You do not have a place in the coast guard untill you are out and getting ready to report in for your first orders. Why are you so scared to argue with this publicly? I assure you that you are nothing but a RECRUIT UNTIL YOU ARE OUT OF BOOTCAMP.
Its like training for a new job. Sure, they can say ok this is your date to come in and train. You get there you do the training to their standards you got the job. Don’t do well in training, you are back to where you started… without a job. People get told to go home at MEPS for breaking their agreement by getting tattoos or getting in trouble. You are not in anything till you are out of bootcamp. As with ANYYY other branch. Thank you. Take that and shove it up your ass now.
